Honeystar stepped out of the trees towards the sky maple. The days of late green leaf had been peaceful and lazy, and she felt that this could be a short Gathering. However, Greenleaf could not last forever, and the troubles of leaf-bare could still be upon them. As a new leader, she finally understood the responsibility of taking care of her Clan, and what her former leader had struggled with through the seasons. Stepping up to the Great Oak, she turned to face her Clan from the branches and waited for the other CLan's to appear.
